What does CRACK mean?

If a recipe has “crack” in the title it means that the recipe has cheddar, bacon, and ranch in the ingredients. It all started with me Crack Dip way back in 2007. I made the dip for a Titans football game. Everyone went crazy over it. We couldn’t stop eating it and said it was like crack. The name stuck.

According to the dictionary, the definition of crack is “of superior excellence or ability”. We think the flavor combination of cheddar, bacon, and ranch fits this definition! This recipe is most definitely of superior excellence!

How to Make Crack Breakfast Sliders

These breakfast sandwiches are super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a large scale, cook bacon slices over medium-high heat until crispy. Drain excess grease on paper towels. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Season with salt and black pepper. Scramble eggs in the skillet over medium heat and set aside.

Using a serrated knife, split a package of Hawaiian rolls in half. Place the bottom buns in a baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the bottom of the rolls. Top with scrambled eggs. Add a layer of cooked bacon. Top bacon with the remaining cheese. Place top buns on top of the cheese.

In a small bowl, melt butter. Stir in ranch dressing mix. Brush or pour ranch butter over the tops of the rolls and bake in a preheated oven until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
